BRIEF/
Tasked with creating a chindōgu—a “useful but unusable” object—the goal was to design a conceptual item that addresses a daily problem in an impractical or humorous way. The project included a photographic editorial shoot to present the object in a visually engaging and narrative-driven manner.
Inspired by chindōgu, the Japanese art of “useful but unusable” gadgets, DOGU is a portable compost bag made from recycled materials, designed to grow, carry, and compost fruits and vegetables anywhere. Practical, playful, and eco-conscious.
“DOGU” merges “doggy bag” with the Japanese dōgu (tool), reflecting its function and quirky inspiration.
