The workshop explored heroes and heroines figures defined by courage and exceptional acts across mythology, pop culture, and real life. The focus was on how appearance communicates their role and values. The assignment was to create a cohesive editorial photographic series blending portrait, fashion, and staged imagery with a strong artistic direction.
“Celebrating everyday heroes.”
Monument showcases our closest family members, primarily grandparents, as everyday heroes. The project highlights their legacy, personal stories, and the inspiration they provide.
Through a full-page editorial format, the portraits blend heritage with a contemporary, youthful, and colorful visual identity, bringing timeless subjects into a modern context.
